1. Shred the white radish into strips; this step is labor-intensive and may cause minor blisters if attempted for the first time. Sprinkle some salt over the shredded radish and let it marinate for 30 minutes.


2. While the radish is marinating, prepare the other ingredients: dice the onion, shiitake mushrooms, and Chinese sausage into small cubes.


3. After the radish has finished marinating, squeeze out the liquid and set the radish water aside for later use.


4. Pour the rice flour into the radish juice and stir.
